Admissions

Thank you for considering a Christ-centered education at Fellowship Christian Academy for your child(ren). FCA is focused on providing a rigorous academic environment where Christ is the central focus.  Imagine your preschool through 7th grade student in a classroom where he or she is continually encouraged, equipped and empowered to become a Champion for Christ in our community.

Please review the process below and let us know if you have any questions.

Our admissions director can be reached at admissions@ncftoday.com.

We look forward to welcoming you to our campus soon.

Step One:  Schedule a Tour

We would love the opportunity to introduce you to FCA, show you our campus, and let you see what sets us apart.

Step Two:  Complete Online Application for your Child

Complete an online application for your child.  The application will be provided to you via email following the Open House or scheduled tour.  The application requires a non-refundable application fee.

The application will require previous report cards and/or transcripts in addition to any IEP or 504 plan that your child may have.  These can be uploaded with the application or emailed to admissions@ncftoday.com.

Your application will be reviewed, and we will be in contact if any additional information or meetings are required.

Step Three:  Come in for Child Assessment and Family Meeting

We want to make sure that FCA is the best fit for your child and that our team is able to meet your child's needs in a way that will maximize his or her ability to excel both in and out of the classroom.  Completing an assessment with one of our staff members will help our team get a more solid understanding of your child's academic needs.

During your child's assessment, you will have the opportunity to meet with one of our administrators so that we can get to know your family and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about our school.

Step Four: Accept your Child's Seat at FCA

Expect to receive an email notification of the status of your child's application within two weeks of the assessment date.

- If your child receives a seat at FCA, you will have one week to accept your child's spot by paying the acceptance fee.  An enrollment packet will be sent to you in the spring.

- If your child’s desired classroom is full, you will be notified of your child’s placement on the waitlist. In this case, we will contact you as soon as a seat becomes available.

FCA participates in a scholarship program run through the North Carolina Education Assistance Authority.  This program provides scholarships and grants to families who meet their criteria to attend a private school of their choice.  Visit their website at www.ncseaa.edu to learn more about this financial assistance option.
