After School Program

The FCA After School Program provides a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment for students from FCA and select Moore County Schools, including Carthage Elementary, Vass-Lakeview Elementary, Cameron Elementary, Crain’s Creek Middle, and New Century Middle School. Transportation is available with 15-passenger vans, and enrollment is limited by van capacity. If space allows, we may consider including additional school areas. Schools interested in partnering with us can reach out to the Head of Extended Day Ministries for more information.

After school care is offered Monday–Friday from 3:00–6:00 p.m., including scheduled half-days.

Each afternoon, students enjoy a well-rounded program that blends active play, engaging activities, and time to connect with friends. When the weather keeps us indoors, our spaces come alive with games and hands-on activities that spark creativity, teamwork, and curiosity. Faith is woven into every day through devotion and prayer, encouraging students to grow spiritually while practicing values such as kindness, gratitude, and respect. There is also dedicated time for homework, with caring staff available to provide guidance and support,

We would be honored to welcome your family into our Extended Day Ministries community. For more information or to schedule a tour, please email Tarah Cyr, Head of Extended Day Ministries, at tcyr@fcacarthage.com.

Summer Camp

FCA Summer Camp also operates from the FCA campus. We welcome rising Kindergarten through rising 8th Grade students from Carthage, Vass, Southern Pines, and surrounding communities for nine weeks of summer fun, beginning Monday, June 8th, 2026, and concluding Friday, August 14th, 2026 (camp will not be offered the week of June 29th-July 3rd).

Our goal is to provide a Christ-centered environment that fosters personal growth. With the exception of weeks clearly designated as on-campus, FCA Summer Camp offers off-campus day trips Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Campers will explore a variety of safe, educational, and recreational experiences throughout the community, with some special outings extending beyond Moore County to Fayetteville, Raleigh-Durham, Asheboro, Aberdeen, and Greensboro.

Camp runs Monday through Friday, with drop-off at 7:00 a.m. and pick-up by 6:00 p.m. Each morning begins with devotion and prayer before heading out on the day’s adventures. Weekly itineraries are shared in advance so parents can plan accordingly.

A summer of adventure, friendship, and faith awaits—contact Tarah Cyr, Head of Extended Day Ministries, at tcyr@fcacarthage.com for more information.
